Power Assure Raises $13.5 Million in Venture Capital

Santa Clara, Calif. – Power Assure, a provider of data center infrastructure and energy management technology, has raised $13.5 million in its second round of venture capital, which was led by ABB.
Founded in 2007, Power Assure develops data center infrastructure and energy management software for large organizations and managed service providers.
The company’s software provides visibility, intelligence, analytics and automation to help CIOs, IT directors, and facilities managers optimize capacity, service levels, and power consumption within and across data centers.
Other investors in Power Assure include Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Good Energies, and Point Judith Capital. The company also received a grant from the Department of Energy.
Power Assure’s partners include ABB, In-Q-Tel, Cisco, Dell, IBM, Raritan, Intel, UL and VMware.
